Setting out on a road trip from Lahore to China’s border at Khunjerab Pass was an adventure filled with first-rate encounters and stunning scenery. Every stop along the way, together with the company of my colleagues and buddies Danish Arif and Muhammad Kashif Samee, unveiled a new aspect of the richness of both natural and cultural diversity.

The excitement of the kilometers ahead was evident as we departed from Lahore. Our spirits were lifted by the prospect of adventure and the appeal of the wide road. Our final goal was Khunjerab Pass, thus the trip was sure to be unforgettable.

The Beginning of an Adventure

Our first stop at Balakot not only fueled our bodies but also marked the beginning of an extraordinary expedition. The aroma of fresh breakfast coupled with the excitement of the trip ahead invigorated our souls.

Gateway to Babusar Top

With open arms, Naran served as the entryway to Babusar Top, our next conqueror. It was thrilling to think that we would eventually reach the highest point in Kaghan Valley.
